This page in a nutshell: Inactive administrators (those who have not made any changes in one year) will have their extra rights removed. They may request them again through RFA. |
Any administrator who has been inactive for at least one year will have the tools removed. They may ask for it back in a request for adminship.
Inactive administrators
An inactive administrator is one who had made less than 100 changes or administrative actions combined within the past calendar year. Editors who have zero edits in a 12 month period will also be considered inactive.
De-adminship
Any inactive administrator who has not made 100 changes or administrator actions combined for the past calendar year will have their tools removed on January 1st of the following year. For example, an administrator with less than 100 edits and/or actions in 2024 will have their rights removed on Jan. 1, 2025. Editors who are declared inactive due to no edits in a 12 month period may have their tools removed by a request to any bureaucrat. An inactive admin can thereafter make a new request for adminship to get their administrator user right back if they become active again.
