William Francis Nolan (born March 6, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri) is an American author. He had written hundreds of stories in the science fiction, fantasy and horror genres. Nolan was known for writing the science fiction novel Logan's Run.

Nolan was born on March 6, 1928 in Kansas City, Missouri. He studied at Kansas City Art Institute before dropping-out.
