Wright State University is a public university in Dayton, Ohio. The university has about 19,793 students. It was founded in 1967. The current president of the university is David R. Hopkins, P.E.D. . The University is named after the Wright brothers.

The athletics teams of the university are called the Raiders. They have 17 varsity teams and they compete in the Horizon League.
