Yumi Watanabe (渡邊 由美, Watanabe Yumi, born July 2, 1970) is a former Japanese football player. She played for the Japan national team.

Watanabe was born on July 2, 1970. She played for Fujita Tendai SC Mercury.

On June 1, 1988, when Watanabe was 17 years old, she debuted for the Japan national team against United States. She played at 1989 AFC Championship and 1990 Asian Games. She was also a member of Japan for 1991 World Cup. She played 19 games and scored 2 goals for Japan until 1991.
