Zeng Yi (virologist)

Zeng Yi (Chinese: 曾毅; pinyin: Zēng Yì; March 8, 1929 – July 13, 2020) was a Chinese virologist. He was a professor at Beijing University of Technology and a researcher at Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.[1] In 1993, he became a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

In October 2002, he became the founding dean of the College of Life Science and Bioengineering of Beijing University of Technology.

Zeng died of an illness in Beijing on July 13, 2020, at the age of 91.[2]
