Greene County, Alabama

Greene County is a county in the U.S. state of Alabama. As of the 2020 census, the population was 7,730;[1] it was the least populous county in Alabama. The county seat is Eutaw.[2] It was named in honor of Revolutionary War General Nathanael Greene of Rhode Island. In the 2020 census, the county's population was 80.8% African-American.[1]
