AIDS[change source]

It is questionnable whether or not AIDS should be included on this list. As Bill Bryson says in his Troublesome Words book, "Aids is not correctly described as a disease. It is a medical condition." As the S actually stands for Syndrome, I think he may have a point. Any thoughts? Yottie ^=talk= 13:16, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HFMD[change source]

Enterovirus is covered in https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_infectious_diseases#:~:text=Enterovirus%20infection,Enterovirus

And in hands foot and mouth disease (HFMD) as the virus strain causing.

If enterovirus should be deleted then all of the other enterovirus diseases could be added.
