2011 World Series

The 2011 World Series is the 107th edition of the World Series, the championship game of Major League Baseball. It was between the St. Louis Cardinals of the National League and the Texas Rangers of the American League. The series lasted seven games and was won by the Cardinals.[1] David Freese was named the World Series MVP.
