An election happened on November 3, 2020 to elect a Senator from Alabama. The two people in the election were Doug Jones (Democratic Party) and Tommy Tuberville (Republican Party). Tuberville won the election with 60.2% of the vote.[1] He became a Senator on January 3, 2021 when he was sworn in.[2]
