A'ja Wilson

A'ja Riyadh Wilson (born August 8, 1996) is an American basketball player. She plays for the Las Vegas Aces, a team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Wilson played for the South Carolina Gamecocks when she was in college.[1] She helped the Gamecocks win the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship in 2017. She has scored more points than any other South Carolina women's basketball player. In 2018, she was the best player in women's college basketball.[2][3]
In 2018, Wilson joined the Las Vegas Aces. She was the first pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft. In the 2020 Summer Olympics, Wilson won a gold medal for women's basketball. She helped the Aces win the 2022 WNBA Championship.
