A New Leaf
A New Leaf is a 1971 American black comedy movie directed by Elaine May (who also stars) and was based on the short story The Green Heart by Jack Ritchie. It also stars Walter Matthau, Jack Weston, George Rose, James Coco, Doris Roberts and William Redfield and was distributed by Paramount Pictures.
In 2019, the Library of Congress selected A New Leaf into the United States National Film Registry.
