Airdrieonians Football Club is a Scottish professional football team. They are based in the town of Airdrie, North Lanarkshire and play home matches at New Broomfield. They are members of the Scottish Professional Football League. The club were founded in 2002 named Airdrie United F.C. following the folding of the original club, before being renamed Airdrieonians in June 2013.
