Akhtar Raza Khan

Akhtar Raza Khan (1 February 1943–20 July 2018) popularly known as Azhari Mian and Tajush Shari’ah among his followers was an Indian Islamic scholar and Cleric belonged to Dargah Aala Hazrat.[1] He is the descendant of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, the founder of the Barelvi movement.[2] He was the Grand Mufti of India succeeding his maternal Grandfather Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri. He was ranked at the 22nd position in The 500 Most Influential Muslims globally in the 2014–2015 version of book.[3]
