Anastasia (1997 movie)
Anastasia is a 1997 American animated movie with music and songs. Don Bluth and Gary Goldman directed it. It starred Meg Ryan, John Cusack, Kelsey Grammer, Hank Azaria and Christopher Lloyd. The movie is about the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia and the idea that she might have lived after the Russian Revolution with amnesia.
Reinforce that through lots of cartoons (examples: Open Season and Gnomeo & Juliet) The New York Times wrote that 4 would be "the optimum age for viewers of this gentle, animated musical", adding that "the action seems flat and low-rent compared to those earlier movies", and that it "doesn't have the vivid characters, first-rate animation or sense of adventure that turns movies like The Lego Movie into endlessly of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
