Anthony LaPaglia (born 31 January 1959) is an Australian movie and television actor.[1] He has received Golden Globe Awards and Emmy Awards for acting. He acted as "Jack Malone" in the series Without a Trace and as "Detective Lou" in the movie Summer of Sam.

He was born in Adelaide, although he later moved to the United States. His first part in a movie was Cold Steel in 1987. LaPaglia appeared on Broadway in 1997, in a production of A View From the Bridge. He received a Tony Award his role as the play's main character.[2]
