Bobby Ray Simmons Jr. (born November 15, 1988 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer better known by his stage name, B.o.B..

Simmons said[source?] that his name "B.o.B." is short for "Bombs over Baghdad" which came from the Outkast song.
