Barbara March

Barbara March (born Barbara Jean Maczka; October 9, 1953 – August 11, 2019) was a Canadian actress. She was born in Toronto. March was best known for her role as the Star Trek character Lursa, one of the Duras sisters. She appeared as Lursa in Star Trek: The Next Generation ("Redemption" and "Firstborn"), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine ("Past Prologue"), and Star Trek Generations.[1]

March died of cancer on August 11, 2019 at the age of 65.[2] She was married to actor Alan Scarfe from 1979 until her death. They had two children.
