Ben Chafin

Augustus Benton "Ben" Chafin Jr. (May 18, 1960 – January 1, 2021) was an American lawyer, farmer, and politician. He was a member of the Republican Party. He was born in Abingdon, Virginia. In 2014, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. From 2014 until his death, he was a member of the State Senate.

Chafin died on January 1, 2021 at a hospital in Richmond, Virginia from problems caused by COVID-19 at the age of 60.[1]
