Bob Johnson (infielder)

Robert Wallace Johnson (March 4, 1936 – November 12, 2019), nicknamed "Rocky", was an American professional baseball player. He played as a utility infielder and pinch hitter. Johnson appeared in 11 Major League Baseball seasons, from 1960 through 1970. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska.

Johnson played for Kansas City Athletics, Washington Senators, Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Athletics.

Johnson died on November 12, 2019 at his home in St. Paul, Minnesota at the age of 83.[1]
