Bolesławiec (pronounced [bɔlɛˈswavʲɛt͡s] (audio speaker iconlisten), Silesian: Bolesławiec, German: Bunzlau) is a city in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It is in western Poland. The city is on the Bóbr River. It is the administrative seat of Bolesławiec County and Gmina Bolesławiec. As of June 2021, 38,280 people lived there.[1] The city was founded in the 13th century. It is known for its pottery-making tradition.
