Brian Hastings

Brian Frederick Hastings (23 March 1940 7 October 2024) was a New Zealand former cricketer who played 31 tests and 11 one-day internationals between 1969 and 1976. He also played for Wellington, Central Districts and Canterbury in the Plunket Shield. He is the father of New Zealand cricketer Mark Hastings.[1] Hastings was born in Island Bay, Wellington.[2]

Hastings died at a retirement home in Papanui, New Zealand on 7 October 2024, at the age of 84.[3][4]
