Brutality

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brutality, also called barbarism or cruelty, is breaking away from lofty human customs and resembling the behavior of ferocious beasts. Brutality is indifference to the infliction of pain or pleasure in the infliction of pain. Bertrand Russell said, "The infliction of cruelty with a good conscience is a delight to moralists. That is why they invented hell".[1]
