Bryn Mawr is a census-designated place in Pennsylvania, United States. It is west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bryn Mawr College is in Bryn Mawr. As of 2010, 4,382 people lived there. It was founded in 1686. Bryn Mawr means "big hill" in Welsh.
