John Elwood "Bud" Clark, Jr. (born December 19, 1931)[1] is an American politician and businessman. He served as Mayor of Portland, Oregon, from 1985 to 1992. A leftist populist with little political experience before his mayoral bid, he was one of Portland's most colorful political figures.[2]
