Cara Mund

Cara Mund (pronounced car-uh; born December 8, 1993) is an American beauty pageant title holder.[1] In June 2017, she became Miss North Dakota 2017. On September 10, 2017, she was crowned Miss America 2018.[2]

Mund was born in Bismarck, North Dakota. Since age 14, she has organized an annual fund raising fashion show benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.[3]

Mund has expressed interest in representing North Dakota in the state and United States Senate. She wants to also be the first woman elected Governor of North Dakota.[4]
