Carl Gunnarsson (born 9 November 1986) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played 12 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Toronto Maple Leafs and St. Louis Blues. He also played 4 seasons in the Elitserien (SEL) with Linköping HC.
Gunnarsson was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.[1] Gunnarsson
Gunnarsson won the Stanley Cup as a member of the Blues in 2019.[2]
On 23 June 2021, Gunnarsson announced that he was retiring from playing professional ice hockey.[3]
