Category talk:Chemical elements

Adding all chemical element articles to this category

I am going to add all chemical element articles to this category. This makes it easier to find them. If anybody disagrees, we can discuss this here. Lights and freedom (talk) 20:46, 17 May 2022 (UTC)

I just want to explain the reason I thought it was a good idea. Right now the subcategories contain things that aren't chemical elements, like bimetal. There's also no straightforward way to find all the chemical elements, because from some categories, like :Category:metals, most elements are in subcategories, while a few are hidden in the main category. It would be more usable if these categories didn't have other items (like "Metallic elements" instead of "Metals"). Lights and freedom (talk) 06:12, 19 May 2022 (UTC)
