Limited co-operation?[change source]

Looks like this page was created in 2012, and, to date, only the creator/editor has admitted to having HighBeam priviledges. Is this category of any value? Should it be somehow linked, or publicized, or should the category be eliminated/deleted? I confess, I have had little exposure to this project, so I am not so much making suggestions as asking questions for MY enlightenment. Does the project en.Wikipedia have such a category? If so, how are things working out THERE? I realize each project is independent of every other, but these two have a unique relationship, I would think.

I'm all ears. Anyone watchlisting this page? Anyone? Talkpage uncreated. Have i gone where no 'pedian has gone before? is THIS the final frontier? Ragityman (talk) 04:23, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am watching naturally. From memory, the idea was to allow others to be able to see who had been given the subscriptions so that would be able to ask the users with access to research for them. It may have been automatically created from the Userbox. So this may not be the final frontier you are seeking :) --Peterdownunder (talk) 23:16, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Incidentally, if you look on the category page you will see language links to other wikipedias where the HighBeam access has been granted. I may be the only one here because the only a small number of subscriptions were offered to the Wikipedia community.--Peterdownunder (talk) 23:19, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That is quite possible. What seems more likely to me, however, is that editors with access either are totally unaware of such a category, or, like myself, have a very limited amount of time and broadband/access, and don't wish to be flooded with requests for help which eventually lead to frustration for all involved. What has yourexperience been, so far? Have you renewed HB for a new year? Were you flooded with research queries? Receive any at all? --Ragityman (talk) 03:31, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
