Child marriage in Pakistan

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Child marriage is practiced in some parts of Pakistan, with the highest prevalence in the Sindh province amd Azad Kashmir. It disproportionately affects the girl child.[1] Early and child marriage are directly attributable to deep-rooted gender inequalities, traditional practices, and customs.[1]
