Climate of Nigeria

The Climate of Nigeria is mostly tropical. Nigeria has four climate types, two seasons and an average temperature between 24 °C and 30 °C.

The climate in Nigeria are of four types. According to Köppen–Geiger climate classification system, it is mainly tropical (Köppen: A) and dry (Köppen: B) in some areas. It can be categorized into four with tropical monsoon climate in the southern part, hot desert climate and hot semi-arid climates in the northern parts, and tropical savannah climate in the central parts of the country.[1]
