The cuisine of the Southern United States is food prepared across the Southern United States. Foods prepared or from the Southern United States include corn, tomatoes, squash along with other fruits or vegetables.

Much of Creole or Cajun cuisine is based on France, West Africa and the Caribbean.

Traditional Southern meals usually involve catfish, fried chicken, butter beans, biscuits and cornbread.

The restaurants serving Southern food include Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits, Church's Chicken and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
