David Thomas Gove (May 4, 1978 – April 5, 2017) was an American ice hockey player. He served as head coach of the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL.[1] He last played with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League during the 2008–09 season. He played for the Carolina Hurricanes from 2000 through 2009.
On April 5, 2017, Gove was found dead in Pittsburgh on April 5, 2017 from a suspected drug overdose.[2]
