David Hyde Pierce (born April 3, 1959) is an American movie, television, stage, radio, voice actor, writer, and comedian who is known for his role as Dr. Niles Crane in Frasier. He won four Emmy Awards for his role as Dr. Niles Crane and also won two Screen Actors Guild Award, a TCA Award, and a Tony Award.

Pierce was born on April 3, 1959 in Saratoga Springs, New York.[1] He studied at Yale University. Pierce is openly gay.[2] He has been married to Brian Hargrove until 2018 the couple were divorced in 2018, but Hyde Pierce and Hargrove still remained as friends, Hyde Pierce marries Saffron Burrows in Feburary 15 2018 and as Burrows has 2 children (a son and a daughter) and he has been married to Safforn Burrows, and became a father to Burrows' kids ever since.
