Dobby Dobson

Highland "Dobby" Dobson OD (July 5, 1942[1] – July 21, 2020) was a Jamaican reggae singer and record producer. He was nicknamed "The Loving Pauper" after one of his best known songs.[2] He was born in Kingston, Jamaica. In 1971, he recorded "That Wonderful Sound" for Rupie Edwards, which sold over 40,000 copies in the Caribbean, and was followed up by the equally successful "Endlessly".

Dobson died on July 21 2020 from COVID-19 in Florida, aged 78.[3]
