Elf: Buddy's Musical Adventure is an American 2014 stop-motion animated Christmas musical television special. It is based on the Elf” dramas including the Will Ferrell movie and the Broadway musical.[1] The story is about Buddy the Elf (voice of Jim Parsons) leaving the North Pole to find his father Walter Hobbs (Mark Hamill).[1] David Hinckley of the New York Daily News said it was a "delightful animated hour".[2] Gail Pennington of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch wrote "'Elf: Buddy's Musican Christmas' "should be on the Christmas TV calendar for years to come".[3] Metacritic gave it a metascore of 74.[2]
