Summary

Description Photo of the vocal group The Chordettes.Clockwise from top: Carol Buschmann, Dorothy "Dottie" Schwartz, Jinny Osborn, and Janet Ertel.
Date No date on CBS release. From the copy and the composition of the group, this is circa 1954, when they had a huge hit with "Mr. Sandman". They weren't signed to a record label until 1953. The group broke up in 1961, when founding member Jinny Osborn left permanently and they found no suitable person to replace her.
