Ganz is a Canadian company best known for distributing plush animals and collectables. The headquarters of the company are north of Toronto in Woodbridge, Ontario. The company has many subsidiaries and offices. It is the manufacturer of Webkinz, the toy with an Internet site.[1]
Ganz was founded in Toronto in 1950 by Holocaust survivors Samuel Ganz and his sons Jack and Sam. Then it was called Ganz Bros. Toys Limited. It is now run by the founder's grandson, Hoard Ganz.[2]
