George Harris Kennedy, Jr. (born February 18, 1925) is an American movie, voice, radio, stage, and television actor. He won an Academy Award for his role as "Dragline" in Cool Hand Luke. He played "Captain Ed Hocken" in the Naked Gun movie series.

Kennedy was born on February 18, 1925 in New York City, New York.[1] He studied at Chaminade High School and at Tarleton State University. He was married to Norma Wurman from 1959 until they divorced in 1971. They remarried in 1973 and divorced again in 1978. He has been married to his current wife, Joan McCarthy, since 1978. He has two children. Kennedy now lives in Eagle, Idaho.[2]
