Gerald Weil Nachman (January 13, 1938 – April 14, 2018) was an American journalist and author. He was born in Oakland, California.[1]

Nachman was a television writer for the San Jose Mercury News.[2] He was a columnist for the New York Daily News[3][4] and writer for the San Francisco Chronicle.[5]

Nachman died April 14, 2018 in San Francisco, California of frontotemporal dementia at the age of 80.[6]
