Greater Manchester Police

Greater Manchester Police is responsible for law enforcement in Greater Manchester. It was started in 1974 when Greater Manchester started.

From November 2012 to May 2017, there was a Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioner, but now that work is done by the Mayor of Greater Manchester.
