HDFC Bank Limited (also known as HDB) is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai. It is India's largest private sector bank by assets and the world's fifth largest bank by market capitalisation as of August 2023, following its takeover of parent company HDFC.[1][2] It is the third largest company on Indian stock exchanges with a market capitalisation of $150 billion (as of 6 September 2023).[3]
