Halloween is a 2018 American slasher horror movie directed by David Gordon Green and written by Green, Jeff Fradley, and Danny McBride. It is the eleventh installment in the Halloween franchise. It is a direct sequel to the 1978 movie of the same name.[1]

Jamie Lee Curtis and Nick Castle star as their roles as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers, respectively. The movie also stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Haluk Bilginer, Toby Huss and Virginia Gardner.

It was released on October 19, 2018, a week before the 40th anniversary of John Carpenter's original Halloween.[2] The movie received strong positive reviews from critics and fans. A sequel, Halloween Kills, was released on October 15, 2021.
