Hamed Karoui

Hamed Karoui (30 December 1927 – 27 March 2020) was Prime Minister of Tunisia from 27 September 1989 to 17 November 1999. From 1986 to 1987 he was Minister of Youth and Sports and from 1988 to 1989 he was Minister of Justice. He was a member of the Constitutional Democratic Rally party.^[1] He was born in Sousse, Tunisia.

Karoui died on 27 March 2020 at his home in Sousse from COVID-19 at the age of 92.^[2]
