Lawrence Franks Jr. (September 12, 1987 – June 25, 2020) better known by his stage name Huey, was an American rapper. At first, he was signed to Jive Records. Franks was best known for his 2006 debut single, "Pop, Lock & Drop It". His debut album, Notebook Paper was released a year later in 2007. He also released a second album in 2010.

Huey was born in Kinloch, Missouri.

Huey died after being shot at his home on June 25, 2020 in Kinloch. He was 32.[2][3]
