Israel Horovitz

Israel Horovitz (March 31, 1939 – November 9, 2020) was an American writer. His written plays include Author! Author! (1982) and Sunshine (1999). He was born in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

His was married three times and had six children, including The Beastie Boys musician Ad-Rock.

In 2017 he was accused by some women of sexual and ephebophilic abuse.[1]

Horovitz died on November 9, 2020 from cancer at his Manhattan home at the age of 81.[2]
