Ivo Banac

Ivo Banac (Croatian pronunciation: [iːʋo baːnats]; 1 March 1947 – 30 June 2020) was a Croatian-American historian. He was a professor of European history at Yale University. He was a politician of the former Liberal Party in Croatia. Banac was a consultant for the Bosnian Institute.[1] In 1990, he became a member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He was President of the Liberal Party (2003–2004) and MP (2003–2008).

Banac died on 30 June 2020, aged 73.[2]
