Jack Rutherford (cricketer)

John Walter Rutherford (25 September 1929 – 21 April 2022) was an Australian cricketer. He played in one Test match in 1956.[1] Rutherford was the first player from the Western Australia cricket team to be picked for a senior cricket tour and the first to win a Test cap for Australia. He was born in Bruce Rock, Western Australia.

Rutherford died on 21 April 2022, at the age of 92.[2]
