James M. McCoy

James M. McCoy (July 30, 1930 – July 13, 2022) was an American Air Force officer. He was the sixth Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force from 1979 to 1981. McCoy was born in Creston, Iowa and was raised in Atchison, Kansas.[1] He served during the Vietnam War.

McCoy died on July 13, 2022 at the age of 91.[2]
