Jan Szyszko

audio speaker iconJan Feliks Szyszko  (19 April 1944 – 9 October 2019) was a Polish forester, educator and politician. He was Minister of Environment from 1997 through 1999, from 2005 through 2007 and again from 2015 through 2018. Szyszko was born in Warsaw. He was elected to the Sejm on 25 September 2005.

Szyszko died on 9 October 2019 in Warsaw of a heart attack at the age of 75.[1]
