Jeanette Fitzsimons

Jeanette Mary Fitzsimons CNZM (17 January 1945 – 5 March 2020) was a New Zealand politician and environmentalist. She was the co-leader of the Green Party of Aotearoa New Zealand from 1995 to 2009, and was a Member of Parliament from 1996 to 2010. Fitzsimons was also a member of the Alliance Party and Values Party.

Fitzsimons died in Thames, New Zealand on 5 March 2020 from a stroke caused by a fall, aged 75.[1]
